Suede and nubuck
Many people are convinced that suede and nubuck are types of leather that are difficult to maintain. But what people often don't realise is that if you use the right products, you can keep suede and nubuck for a long time. Did you know, for example, that you can wash suede and nubuck? Yes, you can. Suede
Suede is one of the more stain-sensitive leathers if you don't care for it properly. It is, therefore, very important to properly care for and protect suede. In addition, it will make the suede very water-repellent. The spray protects and cares for the leather and applies a small hydrophobic layer, as it were, so that drops roll right off.
Nubuck
Nubuck is comparable to suede in terms of softness, but it is made from the outside instead of the inside of the skin. The slightly sadened material creates a velvety appearance that is soft to the touch. As goes for suede, it is important to properly protect nubuck. Moisture and dirt easily absorb into nubuck and can be hard to get out. Always spray your nubuck shoes, bag or jacket well to prevent this from happening so that you can keep it nice and fresh! The products and order of use are the same as for suede. Nubuck is only slightly more sensitive to scratches. Therefore, use a crepe brush made with rubber instead of a steel or brass brush to prevent scratches.
